I will be visiting Montreal for the first time and I am curious to see if any burners that will not be at BM will be in town this coming weekend? I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a try.

Re: Travelling to Montreal
Tue, August 28, 2007 - 6:36 PMHi, Firebird! You'll notice things are a bit dead in this tribe lately. Our glorious BM reps, Mr. Bad and Maj, are currently deep in the Dust, as are several other regulars such as Edweirdo.
As for what to do while in town: Montreal hosts a friendly cheap outdoor DJ party throughout the summer, called "Piknic Electronique". This weekend -- lucky you -- there's not one but TWO: Sunday *and* Monday afternoon and into the evening, on Ile Ste-Helene. Just take the orange line of the Metro from Station Berri-UQAM (direction Longeuil) under the river to Station Jean Drapeau.
Check it out:
www.piknicelectronik.com/
It's only $7, or $5 if you get there before 3pm. -

Re: Travelling to Montreal
Sat, September 1, 2007 - 7:20 PMI will be spending the early part of day at Mount Royal Park and then Old Montreal. I'll be playing with my Zumi poi in both locations. Hopefully, for those around, i can be found.
